A study app that is part of the work.
Food insecurity is the leading social determinant of mental health — and the families our users will serve as clinicians too often face it. Treating the whole person starts upstream.
Clear to Practice donates 5% of net subscription revenue to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, every quarter, with public reporting. Our LLC’s operating agreement locks the commitment in so it survives any future ownership change.
A single Pro annual subscription funds approximately 75 meals.
It’s a study app for the next generation of clinicians — and an unusually direct way to put exam-prep dollars to work on the conditions those clinicians will spend their careers treating.
Why Greater Chicago Food Depository?
Adults in food-insecure households are 2–3× more likely to experience depression, anxiety, and serious psychological distress. Children in food-insecure households face elevated risk of behavioral and emotional problems through adulthood. The clinicians who use Clear to Practice will spend their careers treating those conditions.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository (chicagosfoodbank.org) is Cook County’s primary food bank, distributing food through a network of more than 800 pantries, shelters, and community programs. They serve more than 1 million people annually.
